Monthly Meetings

The Weiz Guys gather on the third Tuesday of each month to share beers, swap knowledge, and enjoy the stories of fellow homebrewers. Each meeting features club updates, educational talks, tasting sessions, and plenty of time to connect with other brewing enthusiasts. Whether we’re meeting at a local brewery, hosting a guest speaker, or diving into a special style or technique, our monthly get-togethers are the heart of the club—and a perfect way to stay inspired in your brewing journey.

Learn To Homebrew Day

Ever wondered what it takes to make your own beer? Join the Weiz Guys and the Liquid Poets on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Brew Fort in Fort Collins for Learn to Homebrew Day! This nationwide event is all about introducing new brewers to the craft and sharing knowledge with curious beer lovers. We’ll have live brewing demonstrations, tips from experienced homebrewers, and plenty of time to ask questions while seeing the process from start to finish. Whether you’re brand new or just looking to sharpen your skills, this is the perfect chance to dive into the world of homebrewing.

Pink Boots Collaboration

This year, we’re proud to team up with our friends at Crooked Beech Brewing for a special collaboration brew in partnership with the Pink Boots Society. This annual project highlights and supports women and non-binary individuals in the brewing industry, using a unique hop blend selected by Pink Boots members. Together, we crafted a one-of-a-kind beer that celebrates creativity, community, and inclusivity in brewing. High Boots is on tap at Crooked Beech so come raise a glass with us in support of this amazing cause!

Turkey Drive

Giving back is just as important as brewing together. Each year, the Weiz Guys join forces with our friends, the Liquid Poets from Fort Collins to host a Turkey Drive to support the Larimer County Food Bank, helping local families enjoy a full holiday meal. Join us on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Zwei Brewing in Fort Collins to donate turkeys or funds directly to the cause. Every contribution makes a difference! and what better way to celebrate community than with good beer and good deeds?

When you bring a frozen turkey or donate $15, you’ll receive one free beer at Zwei Brewing Co as our way of saying thanks! (Limit one free beer per person. Only available on November 15th).

Big Brew Day

Join us for Big Brew Day on Saturday, May 3 (10 AM – 4 PM) at The Brew Fort in Fort Collins as the Weiz Guys team up with the Liquid Poets for a day of brewing, food, and celebration! This year’s official recipe is the Big Blimp! Barleywine, which will serve as our entry into the national Big Brew Day Competition, but you’re welcome to brew your own recipe or just enjoy the festivities. The Brew Fort will also be celebrating their 2nd Anniversary with smoked chicken and pork sandwiches and a special Flat Tire Amber Ale release. Whether you’re brewing or simply hanging out, don’t miss this chance to share great beer, great food, and great company!
