Monthly Meetings

The Weiz Guys gather on the third Tuesday of each month to share beers, swap knowledge, and enjoy the stories of fellow homebrewers. Each meeting features club updates, educational talks, tasting sessions, and plenty of time to connect with other brewing enthusiasts. Whether we’re meeting at a local brewery, hosting a guest speaker, or diving into a special style or technique, our monthly get-togethers are the heart of the club—and a perfect way to stay inspired in your brewing journey.

Learn To Homebrew Day

Each fall, The Weizguys open our doors and fire up the kettles to celebrate the American Homebrewers Association’s Learn to Homebrew Day. Held annually on the first Saturday in November, this event is our favorite way to demystify the brewing process and share the joy of the craft with our local community. Whether you are a curious beginner looking to make your very first batch or an experienced brewer wanting to share your favorite techniques, Learn to Homebrew Day is the perfect opportunity to gather, learn, and experience firsthand just how rewarding (and delicious) making your own beer can be.

Big Brew Day

Every year on the first Saturday in May, The Weizguys proudly join homebrewers around the globe to celebrate the American Homebrewers Association’s Big Brew Day. This annual tradition, honoring National Homebrew Day, is our favorite way to fire up the kettles, share our passion for the craft, and introduce our community to the art of homebrewing. Whether we are testing out the official AHA recipes or brewing our own club favorites, Big Brew Day is always a fantastic opportunity to gather, share techniques, and raise a glass to the greatest hobby in the world.

Turkey Drive

Giving back is just as important as brewing together. Each year, the Weiz Guys join forces with our friends, the Liquid Poets from Fort Collins, to host a Turkey Drive supporting the Larimer County Food Bank, helping local families enjoy a full holiday meal.

We are currently working on securing our location for this year’s event, but we will be gathering once again this November to collect turkeys and funds directly for the cause. Every contribution makes a difference, and what better way to celebrate community than with good beer and good deeds?

When you bring a frozen turkey or donate $15, you’ll receive one free beer as our way of saying thanks! (Limit one free beer per person).

Stay tuned for the official location announcement and final details. Can’t make it? You can still donate directly to the Food Bank of Larimer County.

**When donating select Direct Gift To: “Food & Fund Drive” and Name of Company: “Weiz Guys Homebrew Club” . This is important as our club will be matching donations. If we don’t know you donated, we can’t match your donation.

Pink Boots Collaboration

In 2025, we proudly teamed up with our friends at Crooked Beech Brewing for a special collaboration brew in partnership with the Pink Boots Society. This annual project highlights and supports women and non-binary individuals in the brewing industry, using a unique hop blend selected by Pink Boots members. Together, we crafted a one-of-a-kind beer, High Boots, that celebrates creativity, community, and inclusivity in brewing. Keep an eye out for future collabs and come raise a glass with us in support of this amazing cause!

And Much, Much More!
